MSL’s role in the process

We can help organise accounting records, schedules and supporting documents, and coordinate accounting queries with the appointed auditors. The audit scope, engagement and professional conclusions remain with the audit firm.

An audit involves independent examination by the appointed audit firm. Organised financial records and supporting schedules help that firm carry out its work. MSL assists on the accounting side, helping prepare information and coordinate requests.

A clear division of responsibilities

The partner audit firm agrees the audit engagement and carries out the audit procedures. It is responsible for its audit conclusions and report. MSL provides accounting and coordination support, with the scope agreed separately where appropriate.
